What is passion? What are you passionate about and why is it important to work somewhere you are passionate about the work? To begin, passion (to me) means having an interest in what you do. When you are passionate about something you are invested in it physically, emotionally and mentally. Whenever I am faced with a new challenge at work people usually ask me how I stay positive. My secret is... I  am passionate about my work. I only work with companies where I can make a difference and where their goal are aligned with mine.  I always wanted to help other people, so I started working in customer service. It has been a bumpy ride since then. Each day has been new learning experience for me. The more I learn the more I realize I never knew anything to begin with. Copy and paste = Toss in the waste

   Today, I sat down to review some job applications and I could not be more disappointed in what I saw. I had seen some amazing profiles and resumes and I had forwarded them to my boss to review. I was shocked however when these individuals took the interview quiz. So what happened? What led to me dismissing their profile? Copy and Paste. Yes, this is advice I did not think I would have to give anyone but please never copy and paste your cover letter, resume or quiz answers from blogs. With a quick copyscape test it was revealed that these individuals had lazily copied and pasted their answers. The answers were rated between 50%- 100% full of plagiarized content. One reason why this was an automatic disqualification is because the position would involve content writing and managing the company profile.
